The core functionality of DingTou App revolves around its powerful backtesting engine. Users can easily input US stock or ETF symbols, such as SPY, QQQ, or AAPL, and define their DCA strategy with highly customizable parameters. This includes setting an initial investment amount, specifying the periodic investment sum, choosing the investment interval (e.g., weekly, monthly), and defining the start and end dates for the simulation. The tool then automatically fetches up to five years of daily historical data to accurately calculate each investment's purchase price, cumulative cost, and floating profit.
